A fire at spinning factory in Gazipur on early on Sunday has left three workers injured, two of them with severe burns.
Sreepur Fire Station official Md Tashraf Hossain said that the fire broke out around 6.30am at the generator room of Ishraque Spinning Mill.
Two fire fighting units put out the flames around 8 am.
The fire left two workers of the factory--Md Shahjahan Mia, 26 and Md Al Amin, 19 , badly burnt while one 'Bipul', 23 was hurt when he jumped off from the second floor of the factory building.
Mia was in critical condition and has been taken to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
The factory's utility manager Milon Hossain Gazi said that the fire destroyed four generators as well as other equipment.
He claimed that the losses would touch Tk 45 million
